The Holy Spirit, represented by water, is this album's theme. "The Gift of Wind" album (2020) focused on air. This album focuses on water. In Greek, "pnuema" can describe air, water, or both. Water and air, two natural elements, both contain oxygen and hydrogen. Air is comprised mostly of a gaseous mix, whereas, water is a liquid. Water can be a liquid, or solid, or gaseous. They're similarly constructed, manifest in overlapping ways, yet are unique, different. They're both critical to human life, yet distinct in their function. "Pneuma" in Greek can be used for either element, or both. In Biblical scriptures, the Holy Spirit is likewise described using these terms. When water is clean we can't see it without disruptions, or ripples. Air cannot be seen, only the effects of air (wind). And so it is with the Spirit, who's roles include instruction, counseling, helping, loving, and on and on. God breathed on Adam, made of dust, and he came a living thing. In John 7:38a, Jesus said, "He who believes in Me...from his innermost being will flow rivers of living water." So air, water, and belief all contribute to life.
