Postlude Doxology features a stunningly beautiful clarinet solo played by Gregory Tardy juxtaposed over the original meditative piano tracks played by Allan Mesko. But this time Tom (flugelhorn) plays the familiar hymn melody, and Tom, Gregory Tardy, Jon Hamar, and Allan Mesko play the hymn to the end. We recorded Tom’s flugelhorn track and Greg’s clarinet track at Auralation Studio in Knoxville, Tennessee. The incredible, almost "never-ending" reverberation of the last chord was created by engineer Greg Davis and Benjamin Heckmann at Janztonstudio in Germany (also heard at the end of Doxology Prelude).
