From the recording Gift of Wind

Doxology was arranged by Allan Mesko and Keith Lynch and included Tom Richeson. It was used on a FamilyLife production. Tom used a similar arrangement for his Jazz Tracks album, 2014 BubHut Records, BHR1103. Allan and Tom had been in discussions regarding a collaboration for the Gift of Wind album when Allan unexpectedly died in 2019, so Tom resurrected the original Doxology tracks and rearranged it again, this time in two versions, the first one featuring bassist Jon Hamar and Tom playing flugelhorn and muted trumpet along with Allan’s piano tracks, Prelude Doxology, a sort of short album introduction that only hints at the hymn, variously known as Old 100th, Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow, and Doxology.
